コレクション概要
2009年のコレクションは、偶然見つけた一枚の写真からインスピレーションを受けスタートしました。
それは、1960年にジョセフ・キッティンガーというアメリカの空軍パイロットがスカイダイビングをする写真。彼は実験で高度31kmからスカイダイビングをして、その落下スピードは飛行機なしで音速に到達。
この一枚の写真から、スピードを如何に視覚的に服に落とし込めるか、どうスピードを感じさせる服を作ることができるか考えスタートしました。
テーマは音速。
スピードを視覚的に落とし込む方法として、二重構造を使い表面と中面の差を作り、視覚的に動きを感じさせるようにしました。この二重構造が2009年のコレクションの特徴になっています。
アメリカ原住民の幾何学模様をモチーフに独自プリントを作り、蛍光プリントを使用する事により、ブラックライトをあてると中面が光り、視覚的に面白くなるようにしました。
実験的な事にもチャレンジし、蛍光プラスチック（同様にブラックライトで光る）を使い、アクセントとしてディテールに使用しています。

About 2009 Collection
2009 collection starts from a photograph which I found by chance.
A photograph was taken at the moment when Col.Joseph Kittinger was skydiving from an altitude of 31 km in 1960. His falling speed was almost 1000km/h (Speed of Sound), consequently he experienced speed of sound without using airplane.
From this photograph, I start to think about how to translate speed feeling into clothing as visual.
The way to translate speed feeling into visual, I made the interval between surface and inside by using two-way construction. This two-way construction is a feature of 2009 collection.
Also, I made an original print which is the motif of Native Americans geometric pattern to inside fabric, printed by fluorescent ink and shine out under the black light.
Besides, I tired to use fluorescent plastic sheet(shine out under the black light as well) as an accent of details.
